Member of Parliament Clive Efford has taken up this important cause and is working hard to introduce legislation which would phase-out the use of climate damaging HFCs in supermarkets, and he’s been busy. At the start of this month he gave a speech in parliament calling for the government to regulate in this area. Listen to Clive’s speech here

Clive has also tabled an Early Day Motion (EDM) calling for the government to do something about it. It is essential that we get a high level of cross party support for this EDM to show which ever government wins the election what a serious and important matter this is.
